Anzac Flapjack

So we had ANZAC day here recently and I though I'd do the right thing and make some ANZAC biscuits. Unfortunately I misread the recipe and used too much bicarb of soda. Now bicarb of soda (or Sodium Bicarbonate if you prefer) is used to make the biscuits rise and expand. Guess what happens if you use too much..


I present the Anzac flapjack. It was about 4mm thick and spread across the entire baking tray. Tasted OK though..
